My little one is growing up so fast!  Danger and I just dropped Leah off at her 1st day of Universal Pre K at the elementary school. I know it’s only PreK and it’s only for 2 1/2 hours but I admit I had to hold back the tears.

She looked so grown up standing in line with all the other kids, with her over sized Tinkerbell backpack.  I was the crazy mom with both cameras (video and picture)  capturing it all.  What got me the most was when she waved goodbye with a big proud smile on her face as the teacher lead the kids down the hall to the classroom.

Now…I have 2 1/2 whole hours to myself!  Whoohoo! What do I do 1st?

My search begins, I’m looking for a new vehicle.  Here’s my dilemma…I want something safe affordable and cool.  No offense but to me a minivan is not cool! 

Even though all my neighbors are telling me that is the way to go, “it’s the perfect vehicle to grow into”. 

I think I do want 3rd row seating just in case Danger and I do end up having another kid.  But a minivan?

I should just get a conversion van like I had as a kid

Or hey why not an RV? 

The 98PXY Summer Jam was great.  Hopefully I’ll be able to put up some pix on the blog, there are a bunch under the PXY Pix section.

Anyhow…Thanks for asking about my stilettos…I made it all night!  I almost ran to the PXY RV to change into my flats before Tyga but my sister was there to cheer me  on “One more act Sandy you can do it!”

Right after Seconhand Serenade hit the stage I put on my flats, hat and jacket….Ahhh comfy :)

Scottie and Moose are giving me a hard time because I bought cute new stilettos for the 98PXY Summer Jam.  They think I’m crazy for wearing heels and yes I admit they are pretty painful after about an hour. But they look darn good! What looks good doesn’t always feel good.

So if by the end of the night you see me on stage or catch me at the Tilt after party without shoes, you know why

Leah is going to a new preschool next week. She got into the Universal Pre K program, so now she’ll be going every day for 2hrs at a “big kids” school.  I’m surprised how well she’s taking it, considering her cousin is going back to the YMCA with the kids they both were in class with last year.  I think I’m more nervous than she is.  She says that she’ll “make new friends”  I’m not sure if she really truly realizes what that means but it sounds very mature hearing her say it w/o me prompting her.

Anyways…It’s my 1st time shopping for school supplies…how cute.   Are the kids really going to use 2 packs of 6 count glue sticks AND 2 bottles of Elmer’s glue?! That’s a lot of glue.
