What’s really important in life is…

What a crappy day, just one of those days, even though it’s 75degrees outside I just want to crawl under the covers and escape reality.  For the entire 20 minutes in my car driving home from work I played out and over analyzed the events of the day that are bringing me down.  I don’t cry much but I did break down a bit, the poor guy in the car next to me at the red light on Latta Rd, just starring at me, he didn’t know what to do.

For as down as I was, the second I get to my mom’s house and my 3yr old daughter Leah comes rushing to the door to greet me with a big hug, all of it goes away. Nothing really matters anymore. It’s amazing how having a child changes your perspective on life isn’t it?

Enough typing…I’m going to join her now in creating a chalk drawing masterpiece on the sidewalk :)  This is what it’s really all about.
